Let us take you on a journey through the vines! Our small-group, wine-focused tours pair exceptional Margaret River wines with generous tastings and unique cellar door experiences, without rushing you through the good stuff.

We handpick a mix of award-winning premium producers and boutique hidden gems, showcasing the different varieties & winemaking styles that define the Margaret River wine region. With a maximum of just 11 guests, expect intimate cellar doors, a knowledgeable local guide and plenty of time to taste, learn and actually enjoy the wine.

Inclusions

·       Visit up to four award-winning wineries. We carefully balance renowned premium producers with boutique, family-owned wineries to showcase the quality and diversity of Margaret River wine.

·       Tasting fees included at 3 incredible wineries with plenty of time to taste, learn and enjoy without being rushed from one stop to the next.

·       A wine-focused itinerary, curated each day around the best available cellar door experiences, tailored where possible to the interests of the group.

·       Enjoy a delicious lunch at a popular brewery or bistro with one main meal from the menu per guest. Our lunch venues offer a dietary friendly menu, showcasing seasonal local produce paired alongside an extensive local wine list.

·       A flexible & relaxed final stop if time permits. Depending on the preference of the group we will finish the day at a popular winery, brewery, distillery or chocolatier and relax with new friends over a drink of your choice (drinks at your own cost)

·       Pick up and drop off at your accommodation in Margaret River and some surrounding areas. Out of area transport options are also available (fees apply, see below).

·       Take in the scenic Margaret River landscapes as you travel in the comfort of our spacious, modern, and air conditioned van. Where possible we will take our guests to the coast to see the stunning beaches our region has to offer.

·       Spend the day with a knowledgeable local guide who’ll share insight into the region, its wineries and producers, along with plenty of local recommendations for the rest of your stay.

·       A genuinely small-group experience, with a maximum of just 11 guests. Smaller groups mean more relaxed tastings, better interactions at the cellar door and a more personal experience throughout the day.

Duration

Tour time 10:30am - 4:30pm (approx 6 hours).

Pick-ups start from 9:45am. Exact pick up time will be confirmed by 5pm the day prior to your tour departure.

What to Expect

Margaret River has hundreds of cellar doors and choosing where to go is half the battle. That’s where we come in. Rather than racing between as many stops as possible, we focus on quality over quantity, curating each tour around a mix of iconic producers, boutique family-owned wineries and hidden gems.

We’ll pick you up at or near your accommodation and hit the road, taking in the vineyards, forests and beautiful landscapes of Margaret River along the way. Spend the morning enjoying two generous, unhurried wine tastings before settling in for a relaxed lunch at a popular local brewery or bistro. After lunch, it’s back to the vines for your third included tasting before leaving a little room for spontaneity at the end of the day. If time permits, we’ll choose a final stop to suit the group – perhaps another winery or distillery, a scenic coastal stop, or a visit to a local chocolatier or delicatessen before dropping you back at your accommodation.

No two Tannin Road tours are exactly the same. Our team considers the interests of the group, winery availability, season and what’s happening around the region to create the best experience on the day. While we can’t guarantee specific venues in advance, we’ll do our best to incorporate your specific interests where possible.
